Until February 2021, Marc R. Montagner was the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Risk Officer at Endurance International Group Holdings, Inc. , a position he held since September of 2015. Endurance is a global SaaS technology company providing web hosting and digital marketing solutions to over 5 million small and medium size companies. Mr. Montagner was previously Chief Financial Officer at LightSquared from 2012 until August 2015. While at LightSquared, he was the key architect of a plan of reorganization. This plan led to a recapitalization of the company and brought in a new set of investors which included Centerbridge, Fortress, and J.P. Morgan. Previously, Mr. Montagner had been Executive Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Strategy at SkyTerra, a provider of satellite communications services. Prior to joining SkyTerra in February 2009, Mr. Montagner was a Managing Director and Co-Head of the Global Telecom, Media, and Technology Merger and Acquisition Group at Banc of America Securities. Until August of 2006, he was Senior Vice President, Corporate Development and M&A with the Sprint Nextel Corporation. Prior to this, Mr. Montagner had the same responsibilities with Nextel Communications. Prior to 2002, Mr. Montagner was a Managing Director in the Media and Telecom Group at Morgan Stanley. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Mr. Montagner worked for Orange in New York where he was the Head of Corporate Development for North America. Mr. Montagner serves on the Board of Directors at Cogent Communications, a publicly traded company, and serves on the Audit Committee and the Corporate Governance Committee. Mr. Montagner holds an MS degree in Electrical Engineering from the École Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications, in Paris and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
